Black Women in Leadership
WellEquity Partners are real people, with real experiences who uniquely understand being in professional spaces while navigating being Black, feeling invisible, and not being heard coupled with the lack of support and being questioned and denied in these spaces. This is the reason we create safe spaces for Black women to feel affirmed, uplifted, and empowered. We lead conscious conversations using transparency and honesty centered around race, gender, and the intersectionality of other identities. These conversations highlight our experiences through truth-telling and share our many traumas in a way that activates ancestral healing instead of trauma-bonding. This process is intended to feed our collective souls, nurture our development, and support our moral compass as Black women professionals.
We are committed to wellness and wellbeing in the form of mind, body, and soul, self-preservation, resilience, and perseverance. During our sessions, the notion of Black excellence is encouraged and celebrated. The strength and power of being a Black woman is acknowledged. We empower everyone to show up authentically and not deny any parts of themselves or their experiences.

Our sessions are rooted in our three core principles: PROMISE, PURPOSE, and PARTNERSHIP in order for women to feel confident in their own leadership capabilities. In facilitating a communal space, we are able to provide feedback and strategies for real situations, offer tools to protect Black women’s mental, emotional, and spiritual health, create a support system, and build a healing network in order to move towards resolutions and restorative practices for healing in professional (and personal) environments.
Who is this service for?
Professional women in leadership positions and rising leaders who self-identify as Black women or a part of the African diaspora.
